"Then we, the ones living, the ones remaining, at the same time will be snatched away to a meeting with the Lord in the air – and so always with the Lord – we will exist." 1 Thess. 4:17

The First General Assembly of the Entire True Catholic Church with its Head

{13} Moreover, we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning the ones sleeping, in order that you do not grieve as do the rest – the ones not possessing hope.

{14} For, if we believe, and we do, that Jesus died and rose up from among the dead, so also, God, the ones having slept, through Jesus will bring with Him.

{15} For this we say to you through a message from the Lord that we, the ones living – the ones surviving unto the coming of the Lord – will not precede the ones having fallen asleep.

{16} Because the Lord Himself with a command, with the voice of the Chief Angelic Messenger, and with a trumpet of God, will descend from heaven, and the dead ones in Christ will rise up first.

{17} Then we, the ones living, the ones remaining, at the same time will be snatched away in the clouds to a meeting with the Lord Jesus in the air – and so always with the Lord – we will exist!

{18} Consequently, comfort one another with these words!

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. (Literal Translation by James T. Bartsch.)

This will be the first General Assembly of the Entire True Catholic Church with Its Only Head, Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:22-23; 4:15-16; 5:23; Col. 1:18; 2:8-19).
