Creeds and Confessions
The London Baptist Confession of 1869. Though Baptist, this fairly extensive doctrinal statement is Reformed in stance, and expresses Covenant Theology. Modern day Baptists who are dispensational will search in vain in this confession for any mention of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. Though WordExplain can agree with a great deal of this confession, it certainly cannot agree with its basis in Covenant Theology. Posted April 6, 2026
